The best AUTHENTIC tacos i've had while living here in Las Cruces. The owners are very nice and professional. The food is made fresh, and is seasoned perfectly, the salsas are very hot! The tacos al pastors are my favorites, the alambres are amazing as well. They don't have a large menu, which is fine because that means they take their time to perfect the dishes they have now. The restaurant is beautiful, great art all around and colorful decor. 100% recommend this place for all your taco needs. WELL worth the prices. - Aaron Baca and Family.

I want to thank Eli and his staff for serving my son and I yesterday. We had the flautas, which were excellent, but then we went along with their suggestion to order the Tacos Al Pastor. My son, who has eaten at almost every restaurant in Las Cruces, declared that the Al Pastor tacos served here from the Trompo (as Eli described) is the single best thing he has ever eaten in his life. I give this restaurant my highest possible recommendation.

The best tacos al pastor! Tortillas are made on the spot and they are delicious. Salsas are spicy, hot and really tasty. The taco plate is filling, piled high with marinated pork, served with carmalized pineapple, cilantro, lime and onion. Service is excellent and the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. Prices are most reasonable.Highly recommend!

Was so excited to try this place. Pictures look good on the website. Took 3 orders of tacos of different flavors to try their variety and a quesadilla with meat. When getting home to have dinner, my husband and I were so disappointed,I was so sad because they looked so good but they had no flavor and they were so tiny that we were able to eat a taco in one bite :(. .. stayed hungry.

Enjoyed the food. Ordered the Alebrije plate which came with a little bit of everything on the menu, Flautas, Tacos, Tostadas, Quesadillas. The food was great and very filling. This dish is more of a two, maybe three person meal. They also had Agua Frescas. Will definitely comeback.

Oh wow. Just picked up (and finished) our order of the Alebrije Sampler plus some extra El Catrin Quesadillas and everything was delicious! The homemade corn tortillas were the star in everything, but all of the ingredients were fresh and authentic! Been a long time since I've had real tacos this good! Don't get me wrong. Cruces has a lot of great Mexican restaurants. But Taqueria Las Catrinas have the best real tacos this side of the border! Thank you. And we WILL be BACK!

This is a hidden gem in Las Cruces! Nobody here has true trompo tacos like this. The meat is delicious, and the tortillas are home made. Its a taqueria, so don't expect a plate full of beans and rice. If you want that, there are plenty of other boring places to eat in town that use it to fill you up so you aren't focused on the main dish. If you have ever been to Mexico City, you will know how special these tacos are with their blend of savory meat, and the sweetness of the pineapple on the trompo wrapped in fresh tortilla. Order 6 tacos with a cold beer or Mexican coke, you won't be disappointed!

First time eating here and loved it!!!! This is apparently a traditional Mexican Taqueria, they use home- made corn tortillas. The menu is small but delicious. Our favorites were the " alambre" tender sirloin with bell peppers, onion and cheese and the chicken and beef flautas delicious, covered in cotija cheese.

Delicious, it's well worth the drive , try it you will love it !!!!

BEST Tacos in town and excellent service. All the resfrescos you want, orchata too. They had live mariachis and the fights on... I felt like I was back in Mexico City. FREE DELIVERY. This will be a regular spot for me.

Absolutely amazing food and service! The tacos al pastor we're out of this world! The tortillas are handmade and the recipe they use is unlike anything I've had in the region! Great stop after exploring the Organ Mountains!

Very bad service, waited for over an HR and still didn't have my order ready... Took waitress 20 minutes after we sat at table for her to get our drink order... There were only 3 tables ahead of us and the wait was this long

Great Authentic flavor, salsa is outstanding. Didn't get to try the flautas, but if the Gentleman at the table next to me is to be believed they are just as amazing. Order of two and a bottle of soda was less than $10 and it was so good I took 2 more to go. Definitely reccomend, absolutely going to return.

Wish I could give it a better review, but hours keep me from trying it. WSMR and WSTF tend to have lunch around 11-11:30, but Catrinas opens at noon. There were several people that were turned away and had to eat elsewhere. Hope to try this place out sometime.
